Never has a cartridge glided into my heart like the Glider L2. One of my first nude body cartridges, it intrigued me to no end. It's open body allowed the music to flow like no closed body could. There were no side walls to vibrate and add coloration. It was the first open body I owned after the Sumiko Blue Point Special and the updated Glider series 2 version remains a favorite of mine today.
I like the Glider's laid back sound and wide dynamic soundstage. The Glider gets down deep into the music and presents the whole spectrum of music from a black background onto a open air color pallet of explosive, vibrating music. Rhythm tempo and pace flow out of the open body with a ease that allows the music to feel and sound so real. A cartridge that will be sure to put a smile on your face. Quite a spectacular cartridge. But don't take my word for it check out the reviews and awards.
